EMS Division Chief

 EMS Division Chief Alan Pike has been employed by the Danville Fire Department since September 1992.  He resides in Danville along with his wife and two daughters and has been a lifelong resident of Danville.

 

The responsibilities of the EMS Division Chief include:

 

EMS Division Chief Pike has spent countless hours training to improve his service to the community. His certifications include State of Indiana Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic, State of Indiana Primary EMS Instructor, American Heart Association CPR Instructor, State of Indiana Firefighter I & II, State of Indiana Auto Extrication Technician, Hazardous Materials Technician, Fire Medic II, State of Indiana Fire Officer I, State of Indiana Inspector I, Emergency Medical Dispatcher and several management classes.

This is a 2006 GMC Yukon that responds on EMS Emergency Runs. It is fully stocked with EMS supplies, AED, Trauma Bags, BLS Bags, and Personal Special Operations Equipment.
