The Danville Fire Department is a combination Fire Department. The Danville Fire Department provides 3 full-time firefighters and emergency medical technicians everyday with volunteers making up the rest of the department. The Danville Fire Department is responsible for covering the Town Of Danville along with Center and Marion Townships. The Danville Fire Department covers 112 sq. miles with population of 11,200. Currently we have 11 Career personnel with 26 paid on-call personnel.Career Firefighter

Paid On Call Firefighter
The Danville Fire Department is currently accepting applications for paid on call firefighters.
One key prerequisite is that you must live within three (3) miles of one (1) of the Danville Fire Stations.
Part Time Firefighter
The Danville Fire Department is currently accepting applications for part time EMT/FF and Medic/FF. All part time applicants must hold a FF 1 & 2 certification and be certified as a EMT-B, EMT-A, or EMT-P in the state of Indiana
