Danville Fire Department
Fire Prevention
![]()
The Danville Fire Department works to educate the community on fire prevention. The Danville Firefighters visit the Elementary schools as well as the daycares in the community. They teach the children about fire prevention, (STOP DROP AND ROLL) home safety (CHECK SMOKE DETECTORS), and child safety.
The Danville Fire Department participates in Fire Prevention Month. This is nationally recognized week in October. We will be providing updates on the exact time and location of when we will be talking to children.
